Beyoncé isn't the only artist to break new ground with her 2023 Grammy nominations.

The 2023 Grammy nominations are here, and many of the usual suspects received nods—and some made history.

Beyoncé earned nine nominations, the most for 2023, and is now tied with her own husband, Jay-Z, for the most Grammy nominations everwith 88 nods in between them. In 2021, Queen Bey broke the record for most Grammy wins ever, clocking in at 28 and counting.

Kendrick Lamar comes close behind Bey with eight nominations, followed by Brandi Carlile and Adele, who each have seven. Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, The-Dream, Future, DJ Khaledand Randy Merrill each got six nods.

Taylor Swiftwas also nominated for her All Too Well short film, as well as for "Carolina" from Where the Crawdads Sing, "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" and "I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor's Version) (From the Vault)" from her album Red (Taylor's Version).

Five new Grammy categories were introduced for 2023, including Best Alternative Music Performance, Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical), Best Spoken Word Poetry Album, Best Americana Performance and Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media.
